This Privacy Policy explains how Midnight Technologies LLC, doing business as Neural Edge AI ("Neural Edge AI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Neural Edge AI website, applications, AI-powered gameplay analysis features, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Neural Edge AI.
Account Information
When you create or use an account, we may collect and maintain information such as:
- an internal Neural Edge AI user identifier;
- email address;
- email verification status;
- display name;
- profile or avatar image;
- account creation date;
- region;
- game rank;
- marketing communication preferences; and
- identifiers associated with third-party authentication providers.
Google Authentication
If you choose to sign in using Google, we receive certain information from Google necessary to authenticate you and create or maintain your Neural Edge AI account.
The information available to us depends on the permissions provided through Google and may include information such as your email address, name, profile image, and authentication identifiers.
We do not receive your Google password.
Steam Authentication and Information
If you connect or authenticate using Steam, we may receive or retrieve information associated with your Steam account, including your Steam identifier and publicly available Steam or game-related information.
We do not receive your Steam password.
Gameplay and Match Information
When you request an analysis, you may provide a game match identifier or other information necessary for us to identify the match.
Neural Edge AI may use that identifier to retrieve gameplay information from third-party game-data services.
Gameplay information may include information such as:
- match statistics;
- player and hero information;
- gameplay events;
- item and ability information;
- performance information; and
- other information associated with the requested match.
The underlying game data retrieved for the purpose of performing an analysis is processed as necessary to generate the analysis and is not intended to be permanently retained by Neural Edge AI.
Saved Game Analyses
Neural Edge AI may retain the analysis generated from a match so that you can access previous analyses and so that we can operate and improve the Service.
Saved analyses may contain information derived from the underlying gameplay data, including gameplay observations, statistics, recommendations, and AI-generated coaching.
Subscription and Payment Information
If you purchase a paid Neural Edge AI subscription, payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe.
Neural Edge AI does not directly store your full payment card number or payment card security code.
We may receive and store information related to your Stripe customer relationship and subscription, such as a Stripe customer identifier, subscription status, plan information, billing status, and related transaction information.
Marketing Preferences
We maintain information about whether you have chosen to receive marketing communications from Neural Edge AI.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in those communications.
2. How We Use Information
We may use the information we collect to:
- create, authenticate, and maintain user accounts;
- provide Neural Edge AI gameplay analysis and coaching;
- retrieve matches requested by users;
- generate AI-powered analysis;
- save and display previous analyses;
- personalize aspects of the Service, including information relevant to your region or rank;
- manage subscriptions and account entitlements;
- process and administer payments through our payment provider;
- communicate with you about your account or the Service;
- send marketing communications where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by applicable law;
- respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests;
- maintain the security and integrity of the Service;
- detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
- troubleshoot and improve Neural Edge AI;
- understand how our Service performs;
- comply with applicable legal obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
3. Artificial Intelligence Processing
Neural Edge AI uses artificial intelligence to generate gameplay analysis, coaching, recommendations, and related content.
We currently use OpenAI as our artificial intelligence service provider.
Information necessary to generate an analysis may be transmitted to and processed by OpenAI. This may include gameplay information, match information, player-related game information, and other contextual information necessary to generate the requested analysis.
We seek to provide AI providers only with information reasonably necessary to perform the applicable processing.
Neural Edge AI does not intentionally provide payment card information to OpenAI for gameplay analysis.
AI-generated outputs may be retained by Neural Edge AI as part of your saved analyses.
4. Third-Party Game Data
Neural Edge AI relies on third-party services to obtain certain gameplay and match information.
These providers may process match identifiers and other game-related information independently under their own terms and privacy policies.
Information made publicly available through a game, gaming platform, or game-data service may be accessible independently of Neural Edge AI.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party gaming platforms or independent game-data providers.
5. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to service providers and other parties when reasonably necessary to operate Neural Edge AI.
These may include providers that assist us with:
- artificial intelligence processing;
- authentication;
- payment processing;
- application hosting;
- database and infrastructure services;
- email delivery;
- security and fraud prevention; and
- technical operations.
Our current service providers include providers such as OpenAI, Stripe, Vercel, Render, and Resend, depending on the functionality being used.
These providers may process information on our behalf or provide services necessary for Neural Edge AI to operate.
We may also disclose information where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
- enforce our Terms of Service;
- investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity;
- protect the rights, property, and safety of Neural Edge AI, our users, or others; or
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
6. Business Transfers
If Midnight Technologies LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information associated with Neural Edge AI may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction.
Any successor's handling of personal information will remain subject to applicable law.
7. Sale of Personal Information and Advertising
Neural Edge AI does not currently sell personal information.
We also do not currently use third-party advertising networks to serve targeted advertisements within Neural Edge AI based on your activity across unrelated websites or services.
If our practices materially change in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices, choices, consent mechanisms, or opt-out rights required by applicable law before applying those practices as required.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Neural Edge AI may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service, including technologies used for authentication, account sessions, security, and application functionality.
We do not currently use cookies for third-party behavioral advertising on the Service.
Third-party services integrated with Neural Edge AI may use their own technologies as necessary to provide their functionality.
9. Email Communications
Neural Edge AI may send transactional communications related to your account, subscriptions, security, analyses, or operation of the Service.
If you have opted in to marketing communications, we may also send promotional emails about Neural Edge AI, including product updates, features, promotions, and other news.
We currently use Resend to deliver email communications.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those messages.
Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may continue sending non-marketing messages that are necessary to administer your account or provide the Service.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining our business and financial records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and abuse, and enforcing our agreements.
Account information is generally retained while your Neural Edge AI account remains active.
Generated game analyses may be retained as part of your account until they are deleted by Neural Edge AI or until they are no longer reasonably necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
Underlying game data retrieved from third-party services for the purpose of generating an analysis is generally processed as necessary to generate the requested analysis and is not intended to be permanently retained by Neural Edge AI.
If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account within a reasonable period, except where retention is necessary for legitimate purposes such as:
- complying with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations;
- maintaining records of transactions;
- detecting or preventing fraud or abuse;
- resolving disputes;
- enforcing our agreements; or
- establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
Information may also remain temporarily in backups or disaster-recovery systems until those systems are overwritten or the information is otherwise deleted in accordance with our ordinary retention processes.
11. Account Deletion
Neural Edge AI does not currently provide an automated account-deletion feature within the Service.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting:

Certain information may be retained after an account deletion request where required or permitted by applicable law, as described in the Data Retention section above.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmitting or storing information electronically can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials and should notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
13. Children's Privacy
Neural Edge AI is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and children under 13 may not create or use a Neural Edge AI account.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances where we are required to delete that information, we will take reasonable steps to do so.
